00.00 Welcome and a Few things to Consider while Listening

2.19 I cannot hear my protector part which I assume to play an important role holding me at this stage with very few progress after intense GP work for 10 months now. How can I invite him to tell me something? (I tried to work with a stronger part behind him, the inner judge to give him another role).

6.02 I see my capsule as clear dome and you can see in and see out but can’t hear from outside. I asked the part what it would like inside, so I was sitting with my eyes closed, I just kept seeing the beach and a blue striped chair, ice cream representation of love but I got a sense that my husband, children needed to be in the capsule as well and I got confused because this is similar to my safe haven but my safe haven you can hear all around.  Should I keep using what my body is leading me toward? 

7.56 I’ve noticed the worry hasn’t been as triggering as much. I do have days I feel extremely tired, my eyes are heavy in the afternoon and I could possibly take a nap but sometimes I’m not able too and my motivation has dropped. I do still have some wired and tired towards the evening time but I am able to fall asleep.  I know you mentioned protector part #2 and safety seeker can play a role in this.  Like you mentioned I can create a capsule for those two parts as well. If I’m working on my worried part now should I also work on other parts or put them on hold like you mentioned for later?

11.49 When I create a capsule for parts I’m working with if I can’t see or get a response from the part.  Do I just use what everyone came up with in the brainstorming and see if the part is satisfied with some of those options?

13.27 Regarding the Wise, Loving Self. You said it’s not a Part, it’s who we are underneath our Parts and personality. Is it the hope that, once we understand and have peace with the Parts, that this is the place we operate from most of the time?

15.52 I’m grieving the loss of my dog and the Grieving Part is alternating with a distressed Part. Today I created a capsule for the distressed part, and will spend some time creating an environment that she loves and feels safe in. It helped. I’m bringing in my Reps of Love, and my little dog, who is now a Rep of Love. It’s very emotional, but I think it will help me, in time, especially making it small and bringing it into my body, my heart. Do you have any other coping tools you used when you went through different times of grief?

21.27 My husband died early this year and I’m still grieving him. Would you think that creating a capsule for the grief might help?

24.13 I have active inner critic (“you should be doing better than this by now”) and victim (“I’m still in grief, I’m allowed to feel sad/lonely/alone, I don’t have to do anything about it yet”) parts. Can you give some ideas for offering a comfortable capsule for these?

28.33 I really enjoyed the session and can see that the ‘capsule resource’ will be really useful for me.  But I think I’m a bit woolly on certain aspects of it.  I’m wondering if this is because when I first did the GP, I always looked on my Parts, in particular the Worried Part, as being something “to be got rid off” or “dismissed”. 

31.43 If you had to describe this capsule resource in a nutshell, how would you put it into words?

32.34 When you put the capsule on the Mind Map, how does it differ from just doing the 7 Steps?

34.07 Can you give some examples of how to use this safety visualization in my regular day to day?  I use it in my 7 steps, but also find that there are times I really feel unsettled and worried.

36.39 Why does the Worried Part in the capsule – or any other Part – have to have its own representation of love separate from my own?

38.44 I had fun making a capsule for each of my parts and asking them what they needed to feel safe. All of my parts asked for a place where they could run away and hide, should I visualise a capsule where they feel safe and don’t want to hide or should I let them feel safe by hiding.

42.12  I have trouble working with my victim part as there is a lot of emotions with her mainly sadness. Due to my upbringing, I have always thought my feelings and thoughts were not important and that there was no point in connecting or communicating them as nobody would be interested. My victim wanted an army, another planet to live on and to feel invincible. My question is as my victim is telling me she wants feel empowered and heard I feel putting her in a capsule when she shows up is shutting her away rejecting her and not letting her speak. She is my only part that never wants to come with me on the mind map on the right hand path. I feel resistance to putting her inside my body as I feel i am shutting her away and not listening to her as she is not ready to move on yet.

50.10 Is not a question more an observation that I didn’t like the idea of the capsules being inside my body so I visualised the capsules on a bracelet on my wrist which I felt happier with.

51.22 I have a part that keeps coming up every day and I have not been able to calm her fears and resource her despite talking with her every day. I am unsure if this is the worried part or the safety seeker part.  She is afraid of being alone without what she needs to survive. This is related to receiving financial support from my parents, who think I should start working soon though I don’t yet feel able. It feels difficult to reassure this part because having what i need to survive feels out of my control if my parents decide to retract support. Do you have any suggestions for how to reassure this part or any other suggestions?

57.43 How do you know when it is the appropriate time to transition from resourcing the part with the capsule to talking with them as the wise loving self?

58.58 Most of the time I do ART directly when a part comes up. I feel its thoughts and emotions and then I disidentify from the part so that it is in front of me and switch into the WLS. I do not do step 2. When my parts are in their capsules, in their safe spaces can I appear there directly or should I become noticeable first?

1.00.20 Three of my parts now have their own safe space. When I put the capsules back into my body they want to be in my heartspace and it feels right to me. Is there anything wrong with that? My parts like the neighbourhood of the others.
